Journey to Thailand #2

Assalamu'alaikum, Selamat siang

Setelah sebelumnya saya menyapa kalian pake bahasa inggris, kali ini saya memutuskan untuk pake bahasa indonesia aja. Sengaja sih, lagi pengen selang seling nulis inggris-indonesia campur-campur.

Jangan kaget sama harganya ~ Oiya, kalo beli makanan disini, kita pake mata uang Baht yaa..

Ready to landing. Pengen banget teriak, Thailaaaand i'm coming! Yey! ^^

Rasanyaa ga tau kenapa seneng banget. Merinding.. Seorang Tia, si gadis desa akhirnya menginjakkan kakinya di Thailand sebagai Mahasiswa bukan TKI. Sebagai tamu kedatangan yang terhormat. Duh susah dijelaskan dengan kata-kata.

Perjuangan ngirit uang saku selama dua semester, perjuangan orang tua, doa bapak-ibuk biar anaknya bisa ikut sit in di thailand Alhamdulillah di kabulkan. Allah luar biasa. Benar-benar Maha Baik.

Ini bukan akhir, it'a a begining.

Next time, saya ceritakan lagi deh soal perjalanan menapaki Thailand..
Daaah... see you :)

Journey to Thailand #1

Hai! Sawasdee Khaa! I hope it is a good day for writing my first journey abroad to Thailand!
Actually, it is so late to share you this experience. Because i go to Thailand around a moth ago, exactly at July 11. Honestly i'm so busy after coming back to Indonesia. My duty as student of Accounting Education on 7th semester made me must going to a school and doing a teaching practice there. Awesome enough you know :D

Okay, back to my goal to tell you about everything i had when i prepare, conduct a journey, and come back here. Please enjoy!

We come to first question. Why i go to thailand?

I am a student of Excellent Class of Accounting Education of Yogyakarta State University. The Accounting Education Department has a program named Sit In that conducted every year. The participant of the program is special for the students of Excellent Class. Sit In Program allow us as the student of excellent class, to study in other university in different country for several day. It is 8 days in my experience.

After a long process of administration, my class is welcomed by Burapha University. Burapha University provide us really a great facilities. I'll tell you about this later.

My journey start from Adisutjipto International Airport, from this airport we fly with Batik Air to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. After that we have to fly around 3.5 hours by Thai Lion Air into Don Mueang International Airport. Then we ride a bus about 2 hours from the airport in Bangkok to Burapha University in Chonburi.

This is my first flight. I never be in the plane before this journey. I got seat A, near the window. How lucky i am. By the way plane is the most comfortable transportation i ever had. From here i understand, why a ticket of plane being so expensive.

Batik air provide us a magazine to read. This magazine helps us to handle our bored.

Batik air has a touchscreen, i don't know what is it called. But i really like this facilities. We can watch a movie, play a game, listen the music, see the route of the plane, and etc. When the plane crews want to tell us an information, they tell us by this screen.

That's an comfortable experience to fly with Batik Air from Jogja to Jakarta.

But, behind the comfortable one, i still can't enjoy this journey because i remember a really short transit time in Jakarta. According to the booking evidence, we only had an hour and 15 minutes to move from terminal 1C to terminal 2D, check in, and going to immigration.

Fortunately, the pilot inform that we'll conduct a landing 20 minutes ahead from the schedule. This made me grateful. Still there's a little bit panic but it's not as big as before because there's 20 minutes addition.

When the plane has landed, i and my friend directly run as fast as possible to the shuttle bus. Luckily we are, we don't have to wait the bus. We take 3 minutes to reach terminal 2D. We still running when we entered Terminal 2D. We found the check in counter is empty, it's a little bit relieve us because that's mean we don't take much time to queue.

From the check in counter, we run into immigration. Here our passport is being stamped as a signed that we are leaving from Indonesia. Hiks :')

After immigration affair is done, we are searching the gate.
Then we're ready to fly leaving for Bangkok by Thai Lion Air~~

I'll tell you this experience later. See you :D
